2013: The Year of Success

A new year calls for new beginnings and fresh pursuits. How can you set yourself up for success in 2013? Take a look at some of these tips to help you get focused, and drive your ambitions forward:

  1. Set long-term and short-term goals, and make them specific. The more general your goals, the more room you'll have to make excuses for not reaching them.
  2. Know your customers. Your customers are your greatest assets. Gain feedback with multi-channel voting or two-way texting, listen to what they have to say, and respond proactively.
  3. Have a backup plan. Not all goals pan out perfectly, and that's OK. Prepare for unexpected circumstances -- whether they're good or bad. This way, you'll always be a couple steps ahead of the game.
  4. Measure, analyze, and react. How did your results measure up to your expectations? What worked? What didn't? Aside from checking the cash register, the campaign manager is a quick and easy way to view analytics on open rates and opt-in rates.

It's essential to ask yourself these key questions and keep tabs on the progress of yours goals so you can evaluate your campaigns, adjust, and continue to plan ahead.
