Hello there. Good morning everyone! Sarah here with the Trumpia marketing team.

It’s time for Trumpia’s “Question of the Day” !

Today’s question – What is a QR Code?

A QR Code is a Quick Response Code, and they are popping up everywhere in marketing and advertising. For example, we've got a magazine here with a QR code displayed on its cover. All a customer has to do is scan this QR Code with a Smart Phone. The QR Code can then link your customer to a website URL. For example, they can be linked to  your Facebook Fanpage or your website! You can even have a text coupon sent back to them automatically, or, link them to a PDF file or picture.

QR Codes are being advertised on billboards, websites and social media, and on flyers and business cards. We are even seeing them driving past us on the freeway on the side of trucks and on the side of buildings. How cool is that! They definitely are growing in popularity with consumers. And, check this out ! I found a video on Youtube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f3qv2dSXQXk) of a man who actually had a code tattooed on him!
