Workbench’s prebuilt applets allow you to automate messages by working to resolve common issues. For example, say you are a business that sends field technicians out to resolve a customer's issue. Workbench can automatically lead them down self-help steps to resolve their issues themselves. If their problem is solved either by a remote technician or through self-help steps, they can cancel their appointment, saving your field technician from wasting time driving out to the unnecessary appointment. But if the customer’s issue persists they can keep their service appointment and your field techs contact information can be forwarded to them automatically.
